Hi There!
My name is Megan Mariko Boggs and I am a non-equity performer from Ewa Beach, Hawaii. I graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a BFA in Music Theatre. Currently available in Chicago/NYC/HI.
I am an artist dedicated to the idea of infinite learning and have found humility in being given the opportunity to use my voice and work to lead with a compassionate perspective and tell the stories that need to be told.
As an artist, it has always been my goal to challenge the way that people think and ways that I can advocate for diverse opinions, cultures, and mediums of storytelling. As a person, my drive comes from a deep appreciation for, and investment in the human experience through this journey we call life. My person and my artist are often intertwined and I find that my biracial upbringing and experiences growing up in the culturally rich islands of Hawaii have contributed to my unique understanding and curiosity of people, their stories, and where they came from.
When I am not performing, I consider myself a professional cat lady and an amateur chef. I am a certified writing tutor and a lover of research and historical fiction where I get to nurture my passion for learning and advocacy through stories both true and fantasy.
