I am thrilled to announce that I will be working with What Will the Neighbors Say? in their upcoming residency with Briclab followed by a transfer to MITU580 where the piece will be workshopped and performed. The new piece entitled “Third Law” combines technology and live performance to interrogate audience agency and power in live performance.
What Will the Neighbors Say? is a theatre company founded by actor/director/producer Sam Hood Adrian, and actor/writer/director/producer James Allan Clements that provokes questions through untold stories. What Will the Neighbors Say? creates theatre that examines historical, social, political and economic narratives that have been disregarded, misrepresented, or otherwise untold in order to provoke discourse in our audience and community. WWTNS? maintains a consistent commitment to diversity, arts education, community outreach, and artistic experimentation. Find out more here.
Third Law is a new metaphysical theatrical exploration, combining live performance with technology to grant the audience power over the destiny of the subjects they see on stage and screen. Designed to interrogate audience agency, gaze and experience, Third Law aims to unpack the relationship between creator and observer by disrupting the traditional role of the audience.
